The Wings Over The Delta
This four-night safari showcases the very best of the Okavango Delta and is available on any day of the week. We have suggested that you visit two separate lodges in the Delta, as the experiences and game opportunities offered are different.
The Okavango Delta is the largest inland river delta in the world with crystal-clear water forming lagoons, lakes and hidden channels amongst grasslands and lush flooded plains. These permanent waters attract much wildlife creating a fantastic area for game viewing by mokoro, motorboat or walking safari.
The diversity and numbers of animals and birds can be staggering. A recent overview of the Okavango records 122 species of mammals, 71 species of fish, 444 species of birds, 64 species of reptiles and 1300 species of flowering plants. Visitors can expect to see Rhino, Elephant, Zebra, Giraffe, Hippo, Crocodiles, Impala, Wildebeest, Lions, Leopards, Waterbuck, Reedbuck and Red Lewche.
This wonderful itinerary can be combined with our fantastic
