The Treetops Kenya
Treetops:
Treetops is famous as the place where the then-Princess Elizabeth awoke one morning in 1952 to find her father had passed away and she had become queen. Nestled deep in the forests of Aberdares National Park, Treetops is placed in the path of the ancient elephant migratory route between the Aberdares Mountain Range and Mount Kenya National Park. Treetops is built to resemble a tree house, this lodge-on-stilts is built high amongst the trees strategically placed overlooking watering holes where guests can expect to see numerous Game such as Elephants, Buffalos and Rhino's.
Accommodation at Treetops:
There are 48 cosy rooms and two suites and for the die-hard animal lovers, you needn't worry about missed sightings as an optional buzzer in the rooms alerts the guests when a spectacle is unfolding at the waterhole. All of the rooms overlook the water hole and are small, cosy and neat ship-like cabins with shared bathroom facilities. Treetops have 2 suites that have private bathroom facilities.
Bars and Restaurants and Treetops:
The Malkia Bar at Treetops is located on the roof top platform and offer spectacular views of the waterholes and the stunning Aberdares Mountain Range. The Main Bar is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a drink whilst taking in your beautiful surroundings. The Restaurant offers a variety of cuisine to suite every pallet.

Our opinion
In the magnificent Aberdare National Park, this world renowned rustic treehouse is legendary for its historical royal connection, for the animals it attracts and for the sheer joy of exploring a tree house visited by rhinos, elephants, buffalos, bushbucks, waterbucks and many others.
