The The Z Hotel Zanzibar

The Z Hotel is a boutique hotel that combines contemporary design with traditional Zanzibari features. With direct access to the beach and set in tropical gardens, a perfect place to unwind and relax. The hotel is situated on Ras Nungwi Beach on the Northern most tip of Zanzibar.

Each bedroom has French doors, which lead onto a private balcony with stunning views over the landscaped tropical gardens and out to the crystal blue waters of the Indian Ocean. The rooms have all been decorated to a high standard and feature Travertine Marble Floors imported from Turkey, Italian designer bathroom suites, crisp bed linen from Egypt, sumptuous fabrics from India and furniture exclusive to The Z Hotel made from local coconut wood.

Superior Rooms are situated on the ground and first floors and offer easy access to the pool and gardens and the first floor rooms having sea views. Deluxe Rooms are on the second floor and offer stunning ocean views. Roof Top Suites are 50 square metres and perch on top of the building and enjoy double-height vaulted ceilings into the roof with exposed beams and amazing 360o views from the wrap around terrace.

A cocktail bar, open and airy located on the beach front, alfresco style a la carte dining and a first floor bistro ensures something for everybody. Saruche, the main restaurant, has an African beach BBQ and dance nights in addition to Zanzibar nights where you sample traditional Zanzibarian cuisine and music.
The infinity pool with massage jets offers beautiful ocean views, whilst the mini spa offers an array of treatments. The PADI registered dive centre offers some of the best diving and snorkelling is available straight from the beach, water skiing, snorkelling and deep sea fishing are also available from The Z Hotel.
Day Trips to Stone Town and Zanzibari are also available, as are adventure 4x4 jeep safaris.
