DAY 1 MONDAY HEATHROW-NAIROBI
Fly from Heathrow overnight to Nairobi.


SAY 2 TUESDAY NGORONGORO
On arrival connect with your flight to Kilimanjaro airport, near Arusha, where you will be met and driven to the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for lunch. Later continue to the Ngorongoro with a brief visit to the Olduvai Gorge, which is often referred to as 'The Cradle of Mankind' and is one of the most prehistoric sites in the world.

DAY 3 WEDNESDAY NGORONGORO
Drive down into the crater for a full day of game viewing (subject to change). This extinct volcano plays host to wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, elephants, rhinos and big cats. Visit a local Masai Village.

DAY 4 THURSDAY SERENGETI
After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge, set high on a ridge commanding panoramic views, draws its inspiration from the circular 'Rondavel' dwellings and winding paths of a traditional Masai village. Lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.

DAY 5 FRIDAY SERENGETI
Take an early Balloon Flight over the Serengeti and a 'bubbly' bush breakfast (optional extra) or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Later enjoy an afternoon game drive.

DAY 6 SATURDAY WESTERN SERENGETI
After breakfast, drive to the Western Corridor with game viewing en route to the Kirawira Tented Camp, the epitome of colonial-style safari luxury. Lunch and afternoon game drive.

DAY 7 SUNDAY MASAI MARA
Depart early in the morning and drive to the Kenya/Tanzania border as Isebania (215km). After immigration formalities cross the border into Kenya and continue your journey to the town of Migori (30km) where you will connect for your light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara (approximately 40 minutes). On arrival in the Masai Mara, you will be met by a representative from Ashnil Mara Camp and transferred to the camp for a late lunch. Late afternoon game drive.

DAY 8 MONDAY MASAI MARA
An opportunity to enjoy an early morning Balloon Flight over the Mara followed by a 'bubbly' bush breakfast (optional extra), or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Time to relax by the pool and marvel at the endless panorama which stretches out before you. A second game drive will take place this afternoon.

DAY 9 TUESDAY MASAI MARA
An opportunity to enjoy an early morning Balloon Flight over the Mara followed by a 'bubbly' bush breakfast (optional extra), or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Time to relax by the pool and marvel at the endless panorama which stretches out before you. A second game drive will take place this afternoon.

DAY 10 WEDNESDAY EXTENSION or HEATHROW
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport (approximately 45 minutes), then proceed with your chosen beach extension or return to Heathrow. (b)

*Alternatively, if you are not extending your safari with a beach stay, there is an option to take the afternoon flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport which is an additional £45 per person (includes lunch in the Mara).
