The The Fairmont Norfolk Hotel
The Fairmont Norfolk Hotel is Nairobi's most exclusive hotel and the traditional starting point for safaris. The city of Nairobi actually developed around The Fairmont Norfolk Hotel, when it was developed as a resting place for travellers in 1904. The hotel still has its own fabulous tropical gardens and guests can enjoy drinks and light meals throughout the day at Nairobi's most famous meeting place, the Lord Delamere Terrace. The hotel was renovated for its centennial in 2004 and is now host to 165 guest rooms and suites, 8 conference rooms and a variety of health and leisure facilities.
