In addition to abundant game to view in the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, included is a visit to the Tarangire National Park. Tarangire's river attracts numerous game and this park has a particularly dense wildlife population.

Ngorongoro Lodge is an architectural marvel built on the rim of the collapsed volcano, with magnificent views over the crater floor.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest unbroken volcanic caldera whose steep sides form a natural enclosure for a wide variety of wildlife. An estimated 25,000 animals, including the 'big five' inhabit the interior of the crater.

DAY 1 MONDAY HEATHROW-NAIROBIFly from Heathrow overnight to Nairobi.
DAY 2 TUESDAY TARANGIREFly to Kilimanjaro airport. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive to Tarangire, with a game drive en route to the lodge (215 km).

DAY 3 WEDNESDAY NGORONGOROAfter breakfast enjoy a morning game drive and return to the lodge. After lunch drive to your lodge located close to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (150 km).

DAY 4 THURSDAY SERENGETIAfter breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park (230 km). Lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drive.

DAY 5 FRIDAY SERENGETIEnjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge, or take an early morning
Balloon Flight over the Serengeti, followed by a 'bubbly' bush breakfast
(optional extra). Lunch at the lodge. Late afternoon game drive.

DAY 6 SATURDAY NGORONGOROAfter breakfast proceed to Ngorongoro with a brief visit to Olduvai Gorge, which is often referred to as 'The Cradle of Mankind' and is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world. Continue to your lodge for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. (200 km).
Overnight: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge (b,l,d)
DAY 7 SUNDAY NGORONGORODrive down into the Crater for a half-day of game viewing. This extinct volcano plays host to wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, elephants, rhinos and big cats. Visit a local Masai village (time permitting).

DAY 8 MONDAY ARUSHA EXTENSION OR HEATHROWAfter breakfast return to Arusha (200km). Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Nairobi. Proceed with your chosen beach extension or return to Heathrow. (b,l)
