Set in the Nyarboro Hills on the edge of the escarpment nestled in the acacia woodland overlooking the plains of the south-western Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous parks in the world. This park is host to the largest and most spectacular annual wildebeest migration. It is the only tourism development in this area of the park and is set in an ideal environment for the wide variety of wildlife seen in the immediate vicinity of the lodge. 

Accommodation at The Serengeti Sopa Lodge:
The Sopa lodge has 69 standard rooms all feature 2 queen size beds and are all carpeted and tastefully furnished with local fabrics and pictures. All rooms are en-suite and have a lounge with minibar. There is also a verandah with 2 comfortable chairs and coffee table with glass windows overlooking the vast Serengeti plains. 4 Spacious double storey suites are also within this property and have a lounge area on the ground floor where you can dine or sit out on the balcony facing the plains, upstairs you will find a king size bed on a raised platform and on one side a bathtub overlooking the plains as well as an outdoor shower. A verandah extends from the room which is the perfect place to relax and watch. 

Facilities at The Serengeti Sopa Lodge:
Set in a corner of the property with a view over the plains of the Serengeti you will find the bar, it has been strategically placed to offer uninterrupted views and has a terrace with comfortable chairs. The dining area is open, spacious and airy. The furniture is wrought iron chairs and wooden tops. Window like spaces hold artifacts found in the region. There lots of light from the floor to ceiling windows which allow magnificent views of the plains while eating.
You also have use of the swimming pool at the lodge and may choose to buy souvenirs from the on site gift shop.
