Accommodation at Saruni Mara:
Designed and built by Kenyan architect Mark Glen, Saruni has just six large cottages, here you can experience the elegance and safety of a permanent lodge. Furnished with colonial antiques, Persian carpets and African art, each cottage has hot and cold running water, elegant Italian bathroom fittings, polished wooden floors, and large bathrooms which offers an amazing "shower with a view". The cottages are all uniquely designed and decorated, the large private terraces offers views of the Mara plains and the waterhole. From the privacy of the massive cedar beds you may be fortunate to see elephant, leopard, waterbuck, bushbuck and impala to name a few.

Bars and Restaurants at Saruni Mara:
The atmosphere at the camp is informal but elegant, the main dining area, Kuro House offers a mixture of traditional and modern Africa, with high beamed ceilings and traditional decor. The wonderful cuisine consists of locally grown and organic produce and an array of local and international delicacies. Dining here is a sociable experience with a large dining table designed to accommodate all of the lodges guests, the perfect place to discuss the days exciting game viewing. The fireplace with its large comfortable armchairs and bar service is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink.
