Laikipia District (days 3-5) is home to a wealth of endangered species. Your accommodation here, Loisaba Lodge, with only 7 en suite rooms, is perched high on the edge of the plateau looking south towards Mount Kenya. The views are legendary, and a water hole attracts wildlife. Not to be missed is one night under the stars in a Star Bed.

Saruni (days 6-8) is the new, deluxe and intimate tented lodge set in a private conservation area outside the Masai Mara Game Reserve. With accommodation for only 12 guests in six spectacular tented cottages, it is set in a remote valley at the heart of the most exciting wilderness in Kenya. Saruni runs the Masai Wellbeing Space, a unique feature in the Masai Mara and considered one of the most professional and inspiring beauty centres in Kenya.
