The transfer to the island is approximately 45 minutes from Pemba airstrip.

The island has 13 Beach Chalets which are palm-thatched each luxuriously furnished offering seclusion, however are located close to the guest areas and steps away from the ocean. Each Chalet offers a full en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor shower. Outside of each chalet you have a hammock for your relaxation and a private plunge pool offering fantastic views of the Indian Ocean. The chalets all have air conditioning, mosquito nets, ceiling fans, hairdryer, electronic safe, satellite TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

The stay at the Medjumbe Private Island is very relaxing, the main building on the island provides a restaurant, bar and lounge area for your use. Also upstairs you have a quiet reading and games area.
