Balloon safaris are ideally suited to the Masai Mara and Serengeti Game Reserves as the open, treeless, plains allow many of the animals to be seen from the air.

Typically, a balloon safari begins at break of dawn, about 6 am, and lasts for around 1 hour, during which you will fly over parts of the vast Masai Mara or Serengeti plains, seeing the magnificent wildlife below. Viewed from an altitude of several thousand feet, the savannah scenery is breathtaking as you take off just before dawn and are high above the plains for sunrise.

Once back on the ground, your experience continues with a glass of champagne and a breakfast in the bush. After breakfast, the rest of the morning is spent game viewing in a 4x4 vehicle, before returning to camp in time for lunch.
