The Magic Rivers Safari

Explore Zambia, Botswana and Namibia in luxury on the Magic Rivers Safari.
Your guided tour starts in Livingstone with the magnificent Victoria Falls and visits the most beautiful areas of Botswana and the Caprivi Strip in Namibia.

The safari side of your adventure begins in Chobe National Park, home to more than 40,000 elephants, and then travels into the beautiful Susuwe and Mahango National Parks. From there it visits the picturesque Popa Falls and then explores the Moremi Game Reserve, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in Africa. Then follows a scenic flight to Xakanaxa, in the Okavango Delta, where there is an included boat excursion through the channels of the Okavango Delta.

DAY 1 LONDON-LIVINGSTONE
Fly from Heathrow overnight via Johannesburg to Livingstone.

DAY 2 LIVINGSTONE
Transfer to your hotel situated within walking distance of the Falls. The remainder of the day is free. Overnight: Zambezi Sun.

DAY 3 LIVINGSTONE

DAY 4 LIVINGSTONE-CHOBE
Transfer by road and ferry into Botswana and to your lodge situated close to the Chobe River and Chobe National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive into the Chobe National Park famous for its large elephant and buffalo herds. Overnight: Elephant Valley Lodge. (b,d)

DAYS 5-6 CHOBE
Take morning and afternoon game drives into Chobe National Park and a sunset cruise on the Chobe River. Overnight: Elephant Valley Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 7 CHOBE-CAPRIVI
Enjoy your last game drive in Chobe before heading into Namibia with a picnic lunch en route. Overnight: Susuwe Island Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 8 CAPRIVI
Take game drives in the Bwabawata and Mudumo National Parks, a guided walk and a cruise on the Kwando River. Overnight: Susuwe Island Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 9 CAPRIVI-OKAVANGO RIVER
From Susuwe head to the Mahango National Park for a visit to Popa Falls, where you can enjoy a short walk around the rapids. In the afternoon enjoy a boat cruise on the Okavango River. Overnight: Divava Okavango Lodge & Spa. (b,l,d)

DAY 10 OKAVANGO RIVER-OKAVANGO DELTA
Spend the morning on a game drive through the Mahango National Park en route to Botswana. In the afternoon you have the choice to ride in a mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe) or a boat cruise. Overnight: Nxamaseri Island Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 11 OKAVANGO DELTA
Visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Tsodilo Hills. In the afternoon take a one hour scenic flight to Xakanaxa in the Moremi Game Reserve. Overnight: Xakanaxa Camp. (b,l,d)

DAYS 12-13 OKAVANGO DELTA
Your time in Xakanaxa is spent enjoying extensive game viewing as Moremi is known as one of the best game viewing areas in all of Africa. Included are two game drives per day and a boat excursion through the channels of the Okavango Delta. Overnight: Xakanaxa Camp. (b,l,d)

DAY 14 OKAVANGO DELTA-HEATHROW
Transfer from your lodge to Maun airport for your flight via Johannesburg to Heathrow. (b)
