Le Mauricia is set in a lively location, a short walk along the beach to the centre of the bustling village of Grand Baie. This gives guests the very best of both worlds, as you can make the most of the excellent facilities offered by Le Mauricia itself or get out and enjoy the shops, nightlife and restaurants found in Grand Baie.

All of the rooms face the sea, except the superb Family Apartments which are located in a ‘family village’ area within the gardens. For honeymooners there’s also a choice of three honeymoon suites which come with their own plunge pools.
All rooms have a fresh new look with brand new bathrooms. All rooms are ocean-facing and have partial views over Grand Baie from a private terrace or balcony.

Le Mauricia offers dining at two superb restaurants and guests are also able to interdine at Le Canonnier although from time to time these restaurants may be full with Le Canonnier guests.

Les Quais overlooks one of the pools and serves breakfast and a la carte lunch. In the evenings you can take a voyage of discovery at themed buffets served from 'live' cooking stations. Le Nautic; A great location for dining with a view, positioned close to the pool and beach. It’s open for a la carte lunch and either a daily chef's menu or a la carte dinner. Bay Watch Bar; The main bar, Bay Watch is located by the pool and serves snacks through the day.

All Beachcomber hotels have a free Bob Marlin Mini Club which welcomes children aged 3 - 12 years. The children's club at Le Mauricia is open from 9am - 9pm, 7 days a week. The clubs are run by qualified professionals who provide fun and educational indoor and outdoor activities to keep your little ones entertained and happy.
Unlike other hotels in Mauritius at all of the Beachcomber hotels most of the land and water sports are free for guests - including water-skiing.

Le Mauricia has 3 floodlit tennis courts (hard court, Head tennis racket hire is complimentary however tennis balls will need to be purchased), table tennis, volley ball and bocciball all of which are free for guests. Mountain bikes are also available for hire.

Gentle, inviting waters make Mauritius a perfect destination for water activities: waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, glass bottom boat trips, snorkelling, kayaks and pedal boats are all complimentary for guests. The hotel also offers free weekly group windsurfing and sailing lessons.

In season Mauritius offers superb deep sea fishing. There is a fishing charter company just 10 minutes from Le Mauricia. The charters offer half and full day trips on fully equipped specialist fishing boats (including quality tackle and bait).
Le Mauricia has an on-site PADI affiliated Dive Centre with a comprehensive diving programme. There are a number of decent dive sites within 20 minutes boat ride of the hotel
