This unique lodge which stands high on the bluff of a dramatic cliff overlooking Lake Manyara and The Great Rift Valley. Not only is this area home to large concentrations of pink flamingoes and birds of prey, it is also home to the tree-climbing lions.  

Facilities at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge:
Dining here is an absolute pleasure; the spacious dining room features an interior bar area, indoor and outdoor dining. Presented in traditional Masai style with the use of swirling primary colours on textured white walls, decor here is kept simple with typical Masai leatherwork, gourds and beadwork. Meals are served buffet style with a choice of local and international delicacies and specialities, ensuring that there is something for everyone. The stunning bar area boasts an outdoor terrace with views of Lake Manyara in the distance and a selection of fine wines, the perfect place to discuss the days game viewing. The stunning pool area offers views over Lake Manyara and optional excursions such as boat trips on the lake, visits to local villages, mountain biking, nature and bird walks and the resident naturalist is on hand to give lectures of the local flora, fauna and wildlife. 

Accommodation at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge:
The traditional East African 'Rondavel' which are circular buildings with thatched roofs are strung out along the edge of the cliff offering uninterrupted view of The Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara in the distance. Each spacious room has it's own small verandah and traditional African decor; hanging behind each bed you will find a spectacular hand-woven rug.
