The 24 Standard rooms at Hemingways are air-conditioned, closest to the sea and include a ceiling fan, en suite shower, mosquito nets, telephone, mini bar, TV, safety deposit box and terrace or patio.
There are 78 luxury bedrooms and suites at Hemingways are within earshot of the surf, and all with beautiful views. The 24 Superior rooms are spacious and are housed in the hotel's new wing, overlooking the ocean, pools or gardens.
The 18 Family rooms at Hemingways (formerly called Deluxe) are located on the ground floor with views of the ocean, pools or gardens. Facilities are as per the Superior rooms but rooms are larger with a luxury en suite bathroom and terrace. 6 Suites are available on request, at a supplement.

The 'makuti' roofs of Hemingways, house the reception, main bar and restaurant. Raised above the beach are two freshwater swimming pools, floodlit tennis and a gym. Other recreational activities include snorkelling, diving, big game fishing, glass-bottom boat excursions and sun-downer dhow trips (water sports are not available May - July inclusive).
