Elephant Bedroom Camp is located in the Samburu National Reserve. The Camp itself is set on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River and is surrounded by doum palms and other indigenous trees and shrubs.From the camp guests can view huge herds of elephant, prides of lion or the solitary leopard amongst other game in spectacular scenic background of rugged rolling hills. The twelve tents are all furnished in rustic African style while offering all the comforts expected of a luxury camp such as hot & cold running water, electricity and wonderful herbal toiletries.

Meals at Elephant Bedroom Camp are a culinary experience in beautiful surroundings. The lounge and dining area offer vibrant safari colours with original oil paintings and soft intimate lighting designed to relax guests returning from an exciting game drive. Breakfast can be taken al fresco in the bush, your 3 course lunch  and 4 course candle lit gourmet dinner can be enjoyed in the dining area or for a truly magical experience, under the African sky.

The lodge offers a wide range of activities to ensure you get the most out of your safari experience. Game drives in 4x4 open sided vehicles can be enjoyed during the morning and afternoon with the camps hugely knowledgeable guides. Why not try a guided bush and nature walk to get up close and personal with the Samburu National Reserve. To widen your knowledge of the area, the resident naturalist offers lectures on Samburu and it's people. You can also enjoy traditional entertainment from the local Samburu Morans and visit a nearby village to get a true understanding of this fascinating culture and their way of life.
