Hi Vicky, We're well and truly back from Kenya, unfortunately!!! Where to begin??? Firstly, we want to say a huge thank you to you... the advice and holiday arrangements you made for us were down to a tee. Somak were there waiting to show us where to go at Nairobi airport and there again at Mombasa to take us to the Indian Ocean Beach Resort. Smashing room at the hotel with lovely sea view. There was only about 20% occupancy during the whole time we were there (brilliant for us) and everyone was so friendly and courteous and the grounds were immaculate. Also, not too much hassle from the beachboys once they realised we weren't interested. But they do try anything to get your attention. The Safari was out if this world and as it was 'rainy' season we were the only 2!!!! Ali Fundhi, our guide, went over and beyond to ensure we had a great time and see everything there was to see. His knowledge is phenomonal and is a great guy. The tent at Asnil was fantastic too. We got a free upgrade to a beachfront room on our return at the hotel... if you don't ask!!! The fact that we were booked through Somak was the decider for giving us this!!! So all in all, the trip of a lifetime, beating every expectation, Thank you again Vicky, Shelley and Gary
Travelled on The Great Migration African Safari I would just like to thank you for the wonderful safari holiday you put together for us at short notice. Everything went like clockwork, people were always there to meet us and the service was excellent. Every day on the holiday was a red letter day. All the lodges and tented camps were superb. The quality of the 2 drivers we had Vincent and Zadoch were unbelievable. They had local knowledge, were very helpful and courteous. There was not one thing I would have changed or thought that could be improved upon. The holiday far exceeded our expectations.
